My custom made polor fleece hats and turbans may be just what you're looking for.
Baby, it's cold outside; don't let cancer make it worse!

Graphic of 'Let It Snow!' turbanHi! My name is Darbie Marlin and I live in Spokane, Washington. It gets a little cold (okay, we can't compete with Minnesota!) in the winter. When I lost my hair during chemotherapy, I became what I call a "hat whore" - dozens of caps to keep my bald head warm.

Now, even though my hair has grown back, I find I just don't like having a cold head. I've made both plain caps and turbans to help me feel stylish and keep me warm (I still sleep with a cap at night).

Graphic of Cocoa helping with the Kwanza turban picturePolar fleece (100% polyester) is soft and warm and comes in a wide variety of colors and prints (though the really large scale prints don't translate well to the small pieces of a hat). I'll make your hat to order for only $11.95 plus shipping. Contact me to pre-order (discuss your color choices and size), and I'll start making custom hats just for you!

What's different about my hats?
Not only are they made to measure for you, but they are slightly adjustable. I take your measurement, add a smidgen, then add elastic and ribbon so that you can make your hat just as snug as you prefer! When I had cancer and lost my hair, a friend of a friend made two fleece hats for me. But, one was so large, I felt like I was swimming in it. And, now that I've grown hair, some of my favorites just don't fit anymore. So, you can order a hat while you still have your hair, but feel confident that it can still be snug when you lose your hair.

Guess what?! On Friday, we finally did a photo shoot of the hats!
So, images will be appearing on this web site over the next few days!
Please come back soon.
